Dialogue meeting 9: Energy performance and savings in data centres

The ninth Dialogue Meeting of streamSAVE Plus focuses on the rapidly growing energy demand in data centres and the new requirements introduced under the revised Energy Efficiency Directive (EED, Article 12). The session will present the latest streamSAVE Plus methodologies for calculating energy savings in IT equipment, systems, and cooling processes, helping Member States develop more robust approaches for monitoring performance and designing future policies.

Participants will also hear findings from the most recent assessment of the energy performance and sustainability of data centres in the EU, including trends, data gaps, and opportunities for improvement. The Dialogue Meeting will conclude with an open discussion on current challenges in evaluating savings, followed by Q&A and next steps.
